Congrats to the Microsoft Windows 8 App Kickstart Winners!

December 4th, 2012

Yesterday Microsoft hosted the invite-only Windows 8 App Kickstart event at TechNexus. Microsoft Evangelists Chris Bernard, Clark Sell, and Sonal Mane covered topics such as design principles, contracts, manifest demo, WAC, and more for the attendees.

Most developers in attendance came with Windows 8 installed and ready to go, and some had already written snippets of code. At the end of the day, seven developer teams pitched the Microsoft team. Three apps were chosen with the highest number of votes: SmilesBack, BeerMate, and MyJailPhone.

Congrats to the winners, and we hope you enjoy your new Samsung Slates!
