Lightship, a TechNexus Venture Collaborative portfolio company, is ushering in a new era of sustainable, luxurious and technologically advanced outdoor travel. The AE.1 Cosmos Edition is a limited-edition machine, with just 50 units set to roll off the production line in mid-2025. Priced at $250,000—or $239,900 after applicable tax credits—each unit will be available in two exclusive colorways, Timberline and DuskHorizon, reflecting a blend of natural aesthetics and futuristic design. Redefining Efficiency and Sustainability With its cutting-edge design and engineering, the AE.1 sets a new benchmark for aerodynamic efficiency. Equipped with the proprietary TrekDrive™ power system, the trailer minimizes range loss for electric vehicles and reduces fuel consumption for traditional gasoline-powered cars, making it an ideal companion for eco-conscious adventurers. Inside, the AE.1 offers a premium, sustainably sourced interior. Designed to accommodate up to four occupants, it includes state-of-the-art features such as an automotive-grade HVAC system, a full bathroom and a galley kitchen equipped with modern appliances, including a dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, convection oven and induction cooktop. The integrated full-solar roof powers the RV, providing a generator-free and propane-free experience, ensuring a seamless connection to nature without compromising on comfort or functionality.
